Clothing in Stock

GPC has the following bike clothing in stock, available for purchase by members:

• GPC jerseys (club-fit ¾-length-zipper only, men's and women's): $70.
• GPC armwarmers (2007 design, limited sizes): $17/pair for lycra; $20/pair for fleece.
• GPC club socks: $5/pair.   (What a deal! Not only are they priced way under most cycling socks, but they will match your GPC jersey way better, too.)
• GPC wind vests (limited sizes): $60.   (Wind vests are a new stock item for us, as of June 2010.)

The following additional items will be available in stock sometime after October 15:

• GPC wind jackets (new item for us). Price t.b.d.
• GPC armwarmers (2010 design). Price t.b.d.

GPC also stocks “ride leader” wind jackets. They are a special design, with the logo “Ride Leader,” intended to honor those who have lead at least 8 rides. They are available as a ride leader premium only — not for purchase — and may be earned only once per member.

Special Order Clothing

From time to time, we place a clothing order with our vendor, Voler. When we do, we announce it in the newsletter and on the web site, so that club members may specify special items as part of the order. This is the ONLY way to obtain items such as race-fit jerseys, sleeveless jerseys, full-length-zipper jerseys, longsleeve jerseys; any kind of shorts, knickers, etc; or special sizes such as XS or XXL. By the way, Voler is pronounced “voe-LAY”, as in French.

The August 2010 Special Order

WHAT. The August order is for long-sleeve jerseys, wind jackets, thermal jackets, and armwarmers. Most of these items are special order and not stocked. However, we have orderered extra wind jackets and armwarmers for stock; see above.

STATUS AND TIMELINE. Orders were due to GPC by 10 August 2010. They will ship from Voler the week of Oct 4-8. Items should be available for pick-up by club members late the following week.

DESIGNS. We are offering two designs.  (1) A general club design, similar to the current jersey, and available to any club member. Here is the new longsleeve / armwarmer design.  (2) The current ride leader design — available only as a ride leader premium, not available for purchase.
