Start    El Cerrito Plaza BART Northeast Lot (Center Ave and Richmond St)
Left     onto Richmond St
Curve Left onto Elm St
Left     Key Blvd (street light up short steep hill)
Right    McLaughlin St becomes Clinton Ave
Left     Amador St
Right    San Pablo Dam Rd
REGROUP  just after corner onto San Pablo Dam Rd
Left     Apian Ave
Left     to stay on Apian Ave, then over Hwy 80
Right    San Pablo Ave
Left     Parker Ave (into Rodeo)
Right    San Pablo Ave
Left     onto bike path at Carquinez Bridge Trail
REGROUP  at beginning of bike path
Right    Maritime Academy Drive curves, then across Sonoma Blvd
Left     5th St
Right    Orange St
Straight/Left onto Pine St
Right    Magazine St over Hwy 80
Left     stay on Magazine St
Left     Laurel St
Right    Benicia Rd
Left     Columbus Pkwy (*shortcut available below if you go right)
Right    Blue Rock Springs Park
REGROUP  Bathroom and water break
Left     Columbus Pkwy (yes, go back a block)
Left     Lake Herman Rd
Right    Reservoir Rd
Right    E 2nd St under Hwy 680
Right    Military East
Left     1st St, Jensen Park on right for lunch break
REGROUP  Jensen Park Lunch Stop (bring lunch or buy across street)
Right    Military East (yes, reverse direction)
Left     Jefferson St.
Left     Park Rd
Right    onto Benicia Bridge Bike Path over bridge
REGROUP  at end of bike path
Right    Mococo Rd curves left over RR tracks
Right    Marina Vista
Left     Shell Ave
Left     Pacheco Blvd
Right    Palm Ave
Right    Vista Way
Left     Pine St over Hwy 4
Right    Muir Station Rd
Left     Pleasant Hill Rd E (the "extreme" left street)
Right    John Muir Road (very short)
Left     Alhambra Ave becomes Pleasant Hill Rd
Left     Oak Park Blvd just past curve at stop sign
Straight Oak Park Blvd becomes Coggins Dr over Hwy 680
Right    Continue on Coggins around curve
Straight  onto Honey Trail into BART station
End      Pleasant Hill BART

* to bypass largest hill, one refinery, and about 10 miles, go
Right    Columbus Pkwy
Right   State Park Rd (bathrooms at park entrance)
Left    (east) on Dillon Pt Rd
Straight  minor left/quick right onto Military W.
back on route at Jensen Park regroup
