GPC route sheets from Alan Forkosh


This is a provisional ReadMe file for the GPCFkshrd directory. The
directory contains rides contributed by Alan Forkosh to the GPC rides
archive. The rides are in Acrobat (PDF) format and are in subdirectories
by region. There is also an index file and directory, permitting one to
search these archives by their content. One needs Acrobat with Search
plug-ins (available free from the Adobe's website at
http://www.adobe.com) in order to perform these searches.

In order to conform to the most restrictive naming convention, the file
name for each route is coded as aaannbbb.pdf where:

aaa is an abreviation for the start location
nn is the approximate ride length
bbb is somewhat random, but can be an abreviation for a ride destination
on end point. 

The location abreviations for ride origins are defined below for each
directory:
