GPC Member Information

This page contains information that pertains specifically to membership in the Grizzly Peak Cyclists, Inc.. Everyone is welcome on this page, but it's mainly interesting only if you are a club member!

Procedures

While GPC is a fairly loosely run club, there are a few things that need to be done from time to time. Here's how:

• Joining the club or renewing your membership. To do either, simply fill out a membership application form and mail it in with your dues. The form is available on the back page of every issue of Wheel Truth, or you can download it in PDF format from this site. Please fill it in in your browser before printing.
• Changing membership information. To change anything about your membership information (name, address, etc.), contact the current Membership Chair.
• Planning a club ride. Consult the ride leader tips and contact the current Ride Coordinator.
• Leading a club ride. Be sure to take along a Ride Signup Sheet and have all attendees fill it out. Return the form, along with a copy of the route map or cue sheet, to the location given in the Ride Leader Credits section of the latest Wheel Truth.
• Reporting an accident on a club ride. See the Incident Report Instructions.
• Suggesting changes to the club web pages. Please email all suggestions to webmaster@GrizzlyPeakCyclists.org.

Forms

Here are some forms of use to club members. Folks online will never have an excuse to not have these again! (In order to read or print the PDF format files, you may need to download a free reader program from Adobe.)

• Membership application available in PDF (1MB) format.

  This is the membership application form that you need to use to join or renew your membership in the club. Please fill in the form before printing it.

• Ride Signup Sheet available in PDF (212KB) format.

  This is the liability release that the ride leader needs to have every participant in a GPC ride sign. And, of equal importance, it's what you have to turn in to receive credit towards your next ride leader award!

• Incident Report Form available in PDF (100KB) format and on the web for on-line submission.

  If a rider is injured on a ride, the club insurance policy requires the ride leader to fill this out. For the form, web links, and further information, see the Incident Report Instructions.

• GPC About Our Club info page available in PDF (5KB) format.

  This is a one-page information sheet about the club which we hand out at Novice Rides, Century-Prep Rides, etc. We usually xerox it back-to-back with the membership application form (listed above).

Email

Email List. Grizzly Peak Cyclists maintains an email list open to members of the club. Read all about it on the Email List page.

Email Contacts. Email and other key contact information is listed on the officers contact page.

Internal Organization

The club officers and their contact information are listed on the officers contact page.
The club bylaws are available on-line.
The club makes annual donations from Century proceeds to worthy bicycle-related causes. The procedure and guidelines for doing so are posted on-line.

Wheel Truth Archive

An archive of the Wheel Truth (in PDF format) going back to January, 2000 and old ride schedules back to August, 1995 is available to club members. Access is protected by the "usual" club user/password. If you are a member and don't know what that is, contact a club officer.
